Along the Road
Every moment in time may lead to a new beginning. Every choice may lead to a possibility we never considered. The winter collection tries to examine these opportunities and our presence in the world. We sat out to an exciting journey and now we invite you to take part
How does a journey start? How does one ventures on a new road? And can you ever know when does it come to an end? As a designer, some of the themes I examine in my collections touch these areas. I am intrigued by our place in the world as women and the way in which we transform and evolve. On the other end of the scale, I am interested to see what we try to hold on to and what are places that we do not want to touch or change.
The garments try to touch these places, even when the questions or the answers are not easy. After all, every journey we sat out on is a part of us. During the last seasons, the fabrics I use and the silhouettes I create examine not only the boundaries of the body, but also the way in which it moves in the world. The clothes, in that sense, are our opening point. They are the base from which we launch, every day, the journey which is ourselves.
My dialogue with Kim Iglimsky, this season’s presenter, reminded me of these place and how each of us has their own journey and how, sometimes, the roads intersect and create a new and exciting connection. Kim started her professional career as a meteor in international modeling.
Kim took that path for many years, until a series of crisis led her to discover anew who she really is; what her interests are, where does she find inspirations and where does she want to be. Kim gone through a fascinating change and our collaboration tries to accentuate those places in life; when change arrives – even in the smallest things, and leads to new discoveries.
During the last couple of years, I underwent numerous journeys and transformations. I became a mother, I let 
yoga enter my life, I dared to focus on the aesthetics I was always drawn to and moved along the never ending road to finding my personal and professional voice – as a designer and a woman. I fund that when my connection to the self is accurate, when we truly listen to ourselves, the results can surprise even us.
My current collection allows me to offer you to take part in the process and share your journeys with us. Not every road conceals a visible change. Nonetheless, every path, every exit out of the house, every choice made in professional or personal life – all of those fragments lead us to a different, fascinating place. Our journey in the world doesn’t have to evolve under the watchful eyes of our surroundings, but also in our private, intimate sphere. We invite you to share with us such a moment – of change, understanding and embarking on a new road. Now it’s your turn to lead us to a journey which is all about you.
