Of the challenges, possibilities and exciting directions the winter 2012 collection set forth
The road leading up to the making of winter collection 2012 went through many stages. It's opening point was
the mini collection M 2012, comprised of 14 avant-garde garments. For me, M 2012 are collectors' pieces which try to break the boundaries and re-shape them. The broad winter collection was created from M 2012, while encompassing interpretations and experimentations wi the look and materials the mini-collection brought to the fore.
Many people think it's much easier to design a broad collection, abundant in garments, looks and colors. I must admit that I find the broad collections to be every bit as (if not more) challenging as the avant-garde garments. Every item has to be precise and accurate, considering the needs of whoever will wear it; manifesting current, stylish look without compromising comfort or hurst the body's movement throughout the day.
As far as I'm concerned, this challenge sets me in motion. Every garment carries the seeds of the M 2012 experiences, as well as my visual inspirations as a designer. The different pieces offer a vast array of options to create a feminine look one cannot ignore. Every garment has its own twist, guarantees a strong presence. In every item you will find a surprising game of fabric, additional materials, color or its connection to the body. 
For example, that is how the Dijon pants were created. This item moves between broad and slim figure while suiting lower body part. They are joined by gentle vests and shirts, softly moving between the body's contour and asymmetry.
For a more tailored look, you can try the Doran jacket, which ends in the waists and delicately accentuates the shoulders. The Zohara dress has geometric pattern and its fitted around the body in brown and blue tones and colors. The Irwin dress ends in an asymmetric line right above the knees, while in its upper part it plays gently with the fabric layers. You can see all the garments right here.
Together, as an ensemble, The winer 2012 garments depict a strong woman, who knows what she likes. I am excited by the possibility to create new looks for every season, for the everyday lives of all the wonderful women who take part in the brand and choose to join us each and every day.
